The Mission for Paws Against Domestic Violence is to give Victims and Survivors of Domestic Violence the strength they need to get their life back while having the support of man’s best friend.
PAWS finds and rescues dogs that need our help and then are trained and certified as Service, Emotional Support or Therapy dogs for victims of domestic violence, Veterans, Law Enforcement or First Responders.
Whether your need is for a Service dog, emotional support dog, therapy dog and are a victim of domestic violence, a veteran, or first responder, we can help!

To cope with domestic violence, PTSD, anxiety or similar conditions, doctors highly encourage their patients to get out and walk. Our PAWS dogs are a built-in walking and playing partner!
Just try to mention the word "walk" and then sit down. You won't be sitting for long...you will be encouraged by your four legged friend to get up and move!
PAWS dogs are trained to adapt to their environments. If you want to take a run, hit the hiking trails, ride a bike, lift weights, they will be there to enjoy every moment with you.
Dogs can become acclimated to most any environment and trained to be comfortable with load noises (fireworks, target practice, music, crowds, etc.). You do not need to leave them at home when you work or play outside. And they love the outdoors.
Meet Gunner, a proud PAWS graduate!
What an amazing day! Keith Lynch is not only a veteran but also a corrections officer at Osceola’s County Jail. Furthermore, his family fits every requirement for our nonprofit Paws Against Domestic Violence. Mary Sotomayor a true survivor, has also started her life over again sharing it now with Keith and their new puppy GUNNER! Holzerland Protection Dogs donated GUNNER and Marsoc's K-9 Training Facility is training him to be their service dog! The family will be part of the training and will have puppy slumber parties until the dog is fully trained.
This process could take over a year! Not only that, but the family will have full access to our facility for FREE for life! We couldn’t do it without our sponsors Matt, Hoffa, and Brett, The Armories and Sarah Nather, Nancy A. Nather, Thomas Nather, Donna Dotson, Heather Guenther, Trish Ward, and John Tutor and all my alumni that participated in the MARSOC'S Olympics!
This little puppy has a long road ahead of him and he needs your help to make sure this family’s dream comes true! Please contact us if you would like to sponsor this pup at 407-408-1701
Let’s bring some "PAWS-itivity" back into the community!!!
We want to give a HUGE shout out to Mercury in Saint Cloud! Their company was awarded the Brunswick safety award and this allows them to nominate two local charities to make a donation to, and they chose us!!
We are honored to be a part of such an awesome award ceremony and part of this awesome community!
This award helps us to keep making a difference in our community!!

Who says training has to be all work? At PAWS Against Domestic Violence we train hard and play hard. Just like in your everyday life, take time for a little fun for you and your dog.
Dogs naturally have a playful nature and really enjoy a little goofing off too. They can be so much fun when properly trained and know when to flip that switch from their service roles to a playful companion.
Call or text today to reserve your time to meet our PAWS puppies or to discuss being a sponsor of this great cause!

The battle against things that cause trouble or create threats can often be won with a trusted partner to encourage you every day to get out and be your "very best ".
Medical and mental health professionals strongly encourage an active lifestyle. Whether you are at full physical strength or have some handicaps, at PAWS we can tailor a program to your needs!
A little laughter can help, too. Watch as Nathan and Kay get an "assist" from Coach Marsoc on their daily exercise routine.
A special thank you to one of our generous sponsors, The Armories. They, too, share our strong commitment to helping others. The team at The Armories made a special commitment to match donations during a fund raising drive, even taking the extra step to donate a portion of their store sales to PAWS.
Please be sure to visit (or call) one of the Central Florida locations of The Armories for your next firearms, training or gunsmith purchase.
